Philip Fridén

The journey in the concrete industry began in the 90s, and during this time I have had the privilege of working on a variety of projects and challenges. I have seen how technologies and methods have evolved, and how the use of concrete has expanded and adapted to new needs and requirements.

I grew up in the company Everts Betongpump AB, which was initially owned by my parents. Since an early age, I have been with my father in the field and active in the company, which has given me a unique insight and experience of the industry. My educational journey began at Kattegattgymnasiet in Halmstad, where I trained as a truck mechanic. This technical background has been invaluable in my work with concrete pumps and concrete plants.

My experience in concrete, concrete pumps and concrete plants has given me the opportunity to contribute to many successful construction projects and to work alongside skilled professionals in the industry. I am proud to be part of this important sector and to be able to share my knowledge and expertise to promote high-quality and sustainable building solutions

Having long-term knowledge and experience of concrete and concrete pumps means that you have developed a deep understanding of one of the most fundamental materials in the construction industry. Concrete is a versatile and sustainable building material that is used in everything from residential buildings to large infrastructure projects. Working with concrete requires not only technical knowledge but also practical experience and a meticulousness that ensures quality and sustainability in every project. One of the most critical aspects of working with concrete is understanding its properties and how best to handle and process it. The concrete's mixing ratios, curing times, and strength are all factors that require careful attention. Over the years, I have learned that every project is unique and requires a customized approach to ensure that the end result meets the specific requirements.

  • Concrete pumps are another important part of my work and have revolutionized the way we handle and place concrete on construction sites. Concrete pumps make it possible to efficiently and accurately deliver concrete to hard-to-reach locations, improving both productivity and the quality of construction projects. Working with concrete pumps requires a deep technical understanding and hands-on experience to ensure safe and efficient operation. Throughout my career, I have developed a broad knowledge of different types of concrete pumps, including their specific applications and technical specifications. I have worked with both stationary and mobile concrete pumps, and I have learned how to optimize their use to achieve the best possible results. This includes understanding how best to handle maintenance and repairs, as well as how to adapt the pumping technology for different types of concrete mixes and building conditions.

  • Another central part of my competence is the ability to run and optimize concrete plants and their control systems. Concrete plants play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality concrete is produced efficiently and reliably. Through my experience, I have learned to monitor and adjust the factories' production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. I have worked with advanced control systems that control all aspects of concrete production, from raw material handling to the final product's delivery.
